Escribió varias novelas como “El extraño caso del doctor Jekyll y el señor Hyde”, o “El príncipe Otón”, aunque su obra más famosa es “La isla del tesoro”.
Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) was a Scottish novelist, poet and essayist. He was the only child of the lighthouse’s builder Harold Stevenson and Margaret Isabella Balfour, they were presbyterian. Robert was baptised as Robert Lawes Balfour, but when he was 20 years old he changed his name for the French version, Louis. All members of his family were engineers and lighthouse’s builders.
